Consistent with Mr. Hirst’s popularity as a serial shocker, “Treasures” items a visible, believe-it-or-not fairy story rooted in mythology, theology and the artist’s creativeness. His mythical selection of artwork and artifacts used to be put on a boat, the Fantastic, which sank. Divers rescued greater than 100 works — massive sculptures of sea monsters encrusted with coral and semiprecious stones; golden monkeys, unicorns and tortoises; in addition to a goddess whose face seems to be oddly like Kate Moss, a marble pharaoh that resembles Rihanna and a bronze statue of Mickey Mouse, coated with centuries of marine decay.
